YouTube 太空實驗室 - 科學實驗競賽 / YouTube Space Lab - Science Experiment Competition

YouTube、Lenovo 和 Space Adventures, NASA, JAXA, ESA 目前正在聯合舉辦一項競賽，目的是發掘精彩的太空實驗創意，而且我們提供了一些超乎您想像的優勝獎項。想要完整瞭解參賽規定，請參閱參賽方式指南、官方規則及常見問題。每個年齡分組 (14 至 16 歲及 17 至 18 歲) 和全球分區 (美洲、歐洲、中東、非洲及亞太區) 的決賽入選者，將在 YouTube 上接受使用者公開投票，並由我們的國際專業評審團進行評選。我們的截止收件日期為 12 月 7 日。

屬於您的實驗，站上距離地球 250 英哩的太空舞台，觀眾是全世界。歡迎您發揮創意，想出有趣的太空科學實驗，自製說明影片並上傳到 YouTube。脫穎而出的實驗將在國際太空站上實際演練，實驗過程也會透過 YouTube 的視訊畫面同步播送到全世界。更重要的是，冠軍還可贏得非凡的獎品。

YouTube and Lenovo in cooperation with Space Adventures and space agencies including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and other partners around the world, today announced YouTube Space Lab, a worldwide initiative that challenges 14-18 year-old students to design a science experiment that can be performed in space. The two winning experiments will be conducted aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and live streamed on YouTube. Space Lab is part of YouTube’s larger commitment to highlighting and providing access to the wealth of educational content available on YouTube as well as Lenovo’s focus on equipping students with 21st century skills via PC technology.

美國茉莉花革命：我們就是那99%的人「佔領華爾街」 / We are the 99%. Occupy Wall Street

從9月17日開始的「佔領華爾街」（Occupy Wall Street）活動，一開始的2週，一直只是抗議華爾街肥貓現象的年輕族群間，毫無組織的抗議活動。原本只是組成鬆散的「佔領華爾街」運動，在大紐約地區工會宣布加入下，今天成為上萬名示威者的大型上街抗議遊行，示威者要求政府改善貧富不均問題，解決企業肥貓現象。
媒體報導：這次「占領華爾街」已變成不再只是失業者與不滿學生洩憤，參加者不分性別、族群、膚色以及年齡，唯一相同之處，在於99%的人無法再容忍1%的人腐敗及貪婪，活動採「阿拉伯之春」方式，以非暴力手段達成訴求。
Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.
